Yesterday it rained

Yesterday, it rained and there were floods.  I was more than a bit worried that there would be flood waters entering my house.  Mum and Dad had to stay in a motel for the night because they couldn't get home.  Personally, I think they just wanted an excuse to have a night in a motel.  Hehe.

Shelly and I stayed home and made a new toy.

The thunder was so close that the house shook.

That was an experience I won't soon forget.  Shelly is meowing at me.  She is about 3 seconds from jumping on my keyboard and settling in until I get up and do what ever it is she wants me to do.
