You had to be there

On the way home from Church today, Mum remembered that she forgot to take the meat out of the freezer for lunch.  We decided to go to Red Rooster to buy a Chicken Dinner.  They roast chicken and a range of vegetables and serve it all in separate boxes so you can take it home, put it on a plate and act like a domestic goddess.  The drive-thru was packed with cars, so we parked and went inside to order.  When Mum ordered, the lovely girl behind the counter (her name was Erin) smiled and said, "I'm sorry Ma'am, we don't have any chickens at the moment.  We're out." 

I cracked up laughing, I nearly fell over!  The Chicken Place was OUT of CHICKEN!!!!!!

Apparently they ran out and just had to cook more.  It would take about ten minutes, so I went to the shops across the road and Mum went to get petrol.  When we returned there was plenty of chicken to o around.
