Why I love Post it Notes

I made a flower out of post it notes.  Unfortunately I can't work out how to rotate this photo and make it stay that way when I upload it.  I'm sure you won't mind tilting your head for a second.  It's a cute flower... if I do say so myself.

First Day back for term 2 and you thought I was slack when I was on holidays!!

I spend about 70% of my time confused.  There is so much in this world that I truly don't understand. Sometimes I am really rather troubled by this confusion.  Other times, I am quite serene in my confusion.

That's all I have to say about that.

Look what I made!

There are lots of birthdays in the family this time of year... so I've been making birthday cards. Check these out!

This is for my Sister.  I used pattern scissors to cut out different sizes of card, patterned paper and the cake picture. I layered the papers and glued them onto the front of a blank card.  The "Happy Birthday" strip came from a cut out sheet I have in my craft box.  The most difficult thing was deciding which paper to use! I grabbed the felt tip pens to write a personal message inside. 

This card was for my eldest nephew.  He turned 15 at the end of last month!!  I used patterned washi tape to cover the front of the card (same card set I used for my sister's card) and glued a pearl blank card on the inside so I could write a personalised message with gel pens. He was happy.

Aren't I clever?!

Now I am working on a Mothers' Day Card for my Mum.  I was getting too excited about paper choices this morning and decided I better put it away and get cracking on the school work.  So much school work! 

Shelly tried to assist this morning... or should I say... Shelly entered the room where I was sitting on the floor surrounded by paper and tape and pens.  She walked right up to me, sniffed all my materials and settled in for a nap on top of my large patterned paper pile.  Her mat was right beside the pile of paper!!  Anyway, she was very curious but not very helpful.  

That's that then. 

What happened to my Holiday?!

There has been far too much NOT happening.  So much for the magical list of things to do.  I have the 'holiday' cold.  I have survived the 'holiday' headache. There is still so much to do.

A return to the bucket list...

There is offucially one less item on my bucket list! Im pleasef to report that I had a productive chat with Grandma earlier this week. Now she knows. I'm happy.

A sad picture

On my dresser there is a perfect picture of what sad looks like.

Easter is over and the world is back to work.  Not me.  I'm on holidays!! There is so much to do.  There has been so much happening.  I have been thinking a lot.  I have been thinking about lots of things.  I haven't made many decisions but I have been thinking.   

I hope you don't feel too sad.  But just in case you need some cheering up.  Here is a photo of a cat. Cat photos always make me happy. 

I think that kitty is a little bit confused, but I like the way he thinks!
